A surviving Graf Zeppelin could face Tallboy and Grand Slam attacks once those weapons became available. A concrete shelter large enough for the carrier would be an enormous project, comparable in cost to several submarine pens. Its large entrance could remain vulnerable. Bouncing bombs developed for the dams suggest a hypothetical means of attacking through that opening. Both the carrier shelter and the attack on it are speculative.
