Question

Is the Falklands garrison a company of Royal Marines?

Short answer

It can be supplied by Royal Marines, paratroopers, Gurkhas or another light-infantry unit.

Notes

The infantry role can be supplied by a company of Royal Marines, paratroopers, Gurkhas or another light-infantry unit. Gurkhas are tentatively recalled as the contingent at the time of the discussion. The garrison is therefore not treated as permanently assigned to one service or regiment.
