German corvettes and Baltic endurance

Are German corvettes good ships despite their short endurance?

They are useful Baltic assets, though greater range would help them cover Germany's wider naval tasks.

German corvettes are judged useful for the Baltic. Their short endurance is less restrictive in that regional theatre. Greater range would improve their usefulness for the German Navy's wider operations. The answer treats Germany as maintaining a fleet for the Baltic alongside a fleet for commitments farther afield.
