Drone missile vessels need protected rearming routes

Uncrewed launchers lose their usefulness if submarines can intercept them on repeated trips to rearm.

Notes

An uncrewed missile vessel that cannot reload at sea has to return to port after expending its weapons. Sending the craft back and forth independently would expose a predictable route to enemy submarines. Escorts would therefore be needed to protect both the return voyage and the movement back towards the force. Distributing offensive weapons among drones also creates a support and protection requirement between attacks.
