Chungnam's weapons and the difference between cells and missiles

The Chungnam comparison corrects a count of 16 missiles to 16 cells carrying four surface-to-air missiles each.

Notes

The Chungnam-class frigate is described as roughly 4,300 tons, with a 5-inch gun, close-in defence, torpedo tubes and land-attack missiles. Its air-defence load is initially given as 16 missiles. A correction distinguishes the 16 launch cells from their contents: four surface-to-air missiles per cell would give 64 missiles. The example shows why the number of launch cells alone does not establish the size of a ship's missile magazine.
