The naming discussion includes a preference for Fearless as a way of honoring Clapp's Falklands association. Recollections of announced names and renaming are checked during the exchange. A later correction acknowledges that Dauntless is already in service and that Dunedin was the name intended in the earlier discussion. The correction limits how confidently the preceding naming recollections can be used.
