How interceptor firing practice consumes missile magazines

Launching several interceptors before checking the result consumes a missile magazine faster than counting one defensive missile per incoming target.

Notes

A two-missile engagement followed by an assessment already consumes more ammunition than a simple one-for-one count suggests. Wartime firing can become heavier than peacetime practice. A Type 31 carrying quad-packed CAMM could fire the four missiles from one Mark 41 cell, assess the result and then fire another cell's load. The proposed task-group magazine remains substantial even without filling every cell with CAMM. The favorable assessment against Russian salvo sizes is qualified by an exception for a salvo made up of more demanding weapons such as Zircon.
