Brummer was scuttled with the German fleet at Scapa Flow after the First World War and remains on the seabed. The wreck lies at roughly 30 to 40 metres, with about 36 metres given as a typical depth. Appropriately equipped divers can reach it, but it is not a casual site. Divers need experienced local guidance because spaces that look passable inside a preserved warship can still be dangerous.
