British service revolvers compared with Patton's

Did British servicemen ever carry service revolvers like Patton?

Probably many did when revolvers were standard, although their weapons were probably less elaborate than Patton's.

The tentative answer is that many British servicemen probably carried revolvers while those weapons were standard. Patton's revolvers provide a comparison for their distinctive appearance. No particular British serviceman or revolver model is identified, and the suggestion that British examples were less elaborate remains a general impression.
