Building British Army divisions around common vehicle families

A proposed British Army structure puts tracked and wheeled divisions on separate common platforms, with CV90 suggested for the tracked family.

Notes

A suggested British Army structure would organise one division around a tracked vehicle family and another around a wheeled family. Each division would derive its variants from that common platform. This would retain both forms of mobility while limiting the number of basic vehicles around which the force was organised. CV90, built by BAE for Sweden, receives a favourable assessment as a possible tracked platform.
