British supplies and convoy losses for the Soviet Union

British reciprocal aid to the Soviet Union included tanks, aircraft, ammunition, rubber, merchant shipping, and the human cost of Arctic delivery.

Notes

The Commons figures list about 3,000 tanks, 2,500 aircraft, 70 million rounds of small-arms ammunition, and 50,000 tons of rubber sent to the Soviet Union between October 1941 and the end of 1942. Their estimated value of roughly £170 million was only part of the contribution. The calculation could not capture the British merchant ships and lives lost getting those cargoes through the dangerous northern waters of the Arctic convoys. Aid for China was likewise being accumulated, but transport constraints prevented the available stocks from moving forward at the desired rate.
