Is the blockade interfering with your trade?
Short answerOnly partly: one French-blockaded home port and an American blockade elsewhere impose costs, but several unblocked ports and trade routes continue operating.
NotesThe trade network shows why blockade is not an all-or-nothing condition. The French cover only one of four home ports, so another trade route continues to function, while the American squadron is weak enough to challenge. The exchange offers a simple operational model: a blockade draws its economic force from closing usable access points and maintaining enough local strength to prevent the defender from reopening them. A blockade can therefore be locally effective without isolating the defender's entire economy.
