Richelieu as the strongest French battleship name

What is the best French battleship name?

Richelieu, because Cardinal Richelieu was a formidable namesake and the ship achieved lasting fame.

Jean Bart is another strong name, but Cardinal Richelieu's reputation gives Richelieu unusual weight. The battleship then earned recognition of her own, so the name does not rely entirely on its historical namesake.
