Would Beatty have been better suited to the battle line?

Beatty's command limitations would also have affected his handling of the battleship line.

Question

Would swapping Jellicoe and Beatty have put Beatty in a command better suited to him?

Short answer

No. Beatty was not particularly good at commanding the battleship line either.

Notes

Commanding the battleship line would still have required abilities Beatty lacked in this assessment.
