A wormhole drive is proposed for the next BC-304 or its successor, with ZPMs required to power it. The discussion recalls a proposed but unmade sixth season of Atlantis that would have supplied a ZPM factory and possibly a drone factory. If those facilities existed, new ships could receive ZPM sockets and drone-control stations as part of their original design. The proposal favours purpose-built connections over improvising a ZPM attachment to an existing power manifold. The manufacturing premise belongs to the unmade storyline being recalled and is not treated as established screen canon.

BC-304 wormhole drives need a supply of ZPMs
A conditional BC-304 proposal links wormhole propulsion and drone weapons to new manufacturing capacity and systems designed into the ship.
