Battleship and carrier profiles drawn to useful scale

Malcolm Wright's second volume uses repeated battleship and carrier profiles to trace changing camouflage, while aircraft drawn to scale show what the ships' air groups looked like aboard.

Notes

Eight illustrations of Warspite and several of Queen Elizabeth trace their colour schemes across their service lives. The same method covers Hermes, Furious, and the smaller escort carriers. Aircraft are drawn large enough for their own colours to be studied while remaining to scale with the flight deck. This makes ship appearance, deck layout, and air-group composition easier to examine together.
