Why modular weapons suit the proposed Baltic patrol vessel

Would modular spaces for weapon systems make sense on the proposed Baltic patrol vessel?

Yes; StanFlex is suggested as a sensible modular approach for a small vessel of this type.

Modular weapon spaces are proposed for the small Baltic vessel discussed earlier. StanFlex is the preferred example because of its logistical appeal. It connects the proposed common hull with an approach to equipment that uses interchangeable modules. The recommendation remains at that design level, with no agreed weapon fit specified.
