Why the Australian National Maritime Museum stands out

Did the visit obtain the needed footage from the Australian National Maritime Museum, and how did the museum compare internationally?

The team obtained what time allowed, and the museum ranked first in this assessment because of its collection, presentation, archives, and staff.

A good national museum can still fall short of the highest international level. In this assessment, the Australian National Maritime Museum ranks among the world's leading naval and maritime museums and ultimately comes first. The judgment rests on the breadth of the collection, the quality of its presentation, the strength of its archives, and the work of its staff. These are concrete criteria for evaluating a museum as a research and public-history institution rather than merely as a display space.
