Where do Andromeda's Nova weapons fit?

Where do the Nova weapons from Andromeda rank among doomsday weapons?

They resemble ship-carried nuclear arms, with other powers able to possess equivalents.

Andromeda's Nova weapons can cause enormous damage. They are compared with nuclear weapons carried by ships. Other ships or powers can carry equivalent weapons, so possession is not confined to one unique installation. Their classification depends partly on that distribution of destructive power.
