The video pauses over 881 Squadron's badge before tracing its service history. The badge has a blue field, wavy white-and-blue water, and a downward-pointing white sword with gold wings. The motto's English sense is "Steadfastly with Winged Sword," the phrase used for the episode title. This opening connects the unit's visible insignia with the identity carried through its later Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy service.
